Criterion’s major loss team has considerable experience in the management of large and complex losses. The team is a well-established operational unit, many of whom have worked together for more than 15 years and have an enviable track record, providing tailor-made solutions to meet the needs of our clients on some of the largest projects.
Once an understanding of the damage and cause is gained then our adjusters attention turns to mitigation and how reinstatement might be approached and accelerated with avoidance of further damage. This consideration benefits from deep conversations with the various stakeholders including the customer, Insurer, broker, local authority, conservation officer, surveyor, damage mitigation specialists and reinstatement contractors.
The use of independent consultants in reinstatement is often necessary and vital to a speedy reinstatement. Care is taken by the adjuster to fully control the scope for these consultants and their activities.
Our experienced adjusters understand the local and regional challenges and use a ‘think outside the box’ approach which still achieves a like for like reinstatement as afforded under the policy.
We believe that our interconnected model, which begins and remains within the high-net-worth environment, is the future of major and complex loss claims handling in the high-net-worth market.
